So New Year came and went in a bit of a blur. Something to do with the rum punches I suspect. In fact New Years day was declared an NBD (No Booze Day). However I do remember the fireworks and they were pretty good and from the photo you will see Fi had a good time. We also went and watched the New Years Eve race - the Nelson pursuit, which was won by our Rock star chum in a chartered yacht (his 138 foot schooner being broken - shame) However the photo is of Elanor a classic 1920's racing yacht that is actually only two years old - who cares she looked fantastic.
Right now we are staying in a little hotel in the Island while Peter has some time with his kids. We rejoin on Saturday and look to be then heading north to the BVIs. That'll be Fi, Me, Peter and a new American lady ..... You'll have to read Salia's blog for more detail.
