I just hope the world isn't really flat

We're at Banbury and this is as far as we went last year.  So if the world is actually flat we could fall off the edge any time now when we go round a corner, as we just won't know what's there.  Or there could be dragons or other dangerous creatures - exciting this canal boating.  Actually we have the top of the Oxford to look at now and although its not far as the crow flies to Napton and the junction with the Grand Union canal, its quite a long way by water.  Its because this is an old canal and they weren't into bridges and tunnels so much and just tended to follow the land contours.  Asking around, everyone says its very pretty and no dragons.  So armed with a new washing machine, full diesel tank, full water tank and empty bog - we'll just go and see for ourselves.

Another Sunday, another Sunday lunch.  This is the weirdly named 'Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn'.  Apparently it goes back to 1475 and was on telly last year.  Good beer but an average Sunday Lunch.  I ask you - stuffing and a Yorkshire with Lamb? and the meat had been carved hours before - only a 7.5 I'm afraid, despite the lovely old oak interior.

  1. I sincerely hope that's water in the water tank and diesel in the diesel tank?
