And now going uphill!!

Turned into the Thames and immediately started plugging the current.  We spent the first night moored next to the Tescos in Reading.  Across the river someone started playing loud music and using a  chain saw at ten at night - bastard.  Still we got away with a full larder.  I don't want to look at my diesel consumption as we've been at high power just to get anywhere.  At one bridge we almost came to a standstill.  Tomorrow we should get off the river and into the Oxford canal - can't wait.  I bet they shut all the weir sluices just after we leave.

Saw this guy today - A cormorant drying his wings - one of us is definitely lost.
