And now for something completely different

If you go back far enough in the Blog you can read of our adventures in the Caribbean over last winter.  Fiona got there courtesy of a 747 but I sailed with a friend on the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC).
Since then, John Simpson who was also on the ARC in his own boat has been looking at planning a slightly different Rally.  The problem with the ARC is that it's so successful that it gets oversubscribed.  Also, as it leaves in time to get to the Caribbean by Christmas, it can be difficult for some people to get the necessary time off.  Some years ago there was a round the world event called the Blue Water Rally but that is now defunct.  Consequently the Christmas Caribbean Rally (CCR) has been born.  I am getting involved helping but its early days yet.  However, there is no reason why it shouldn't be a great success.  Anyone interested have a look at:
